Background
When writing this, it was hard not to look back on my own life and enjoy a quiet moment of gratitude,
as there have been so many inspiring places I have traveled to and people I have met along the way.
This is the backbone of Boudicca Design - bringing life experiences and creativity together.
BD (Bee Dee) is short for Boudicca Design. Bee Dee is just easier I suppose, but I kept the Boudicca bit – despite it being hard to pronounce because it represents a name (my middle name, Boadicea) given to me by my father, with a bit of a Roman spin on it… That is, BOUDICCA.
I’ve been DJ-ing around here and there on and off since about 2000-ish under the name Boudicca and really felt I should take it to the next level and add ‘Design’ when I decided to extend my predominantly audio world and add a visual dimension.
Broadly, I get a kick out of doing work in photography, graphic design and interactive or moving stuff like websites, video and animation.

The dream was for BD to have a reputation for providing customers with thoughtful, unpretentiously priced design and multimedia products - with a smile. Until now, at least 95% of work has been generated from repeat happy customers who have shared information with colleagues, so I'm proud to say the service level seems to have been accomplished.
However, I'm continually interested to know how each individual customer feels about the service they have received and how it can be improved.
